The Forum of Imo Newspaper Editors (FINE) last week re- elected the editor in chief of Owerri based City Star Newspaper, Eze Adiukwu as its Chairman.
The group also elected Mr. Innocent Onyeukwu, editor in chief of Imo State based Online newspaper, INNOEWS.COM.NG as its Vice Chairman.
Mr. Chigozie Uzosike of Sunrise Newspaper was re elected as Secretary. The election was conducted by an electoral committee lead by Mr. Charlie Ejiogu and Mr. Ifeanyi Nwanguma of Nigerian Horn who served as Secretary of the Committee.
Mrs Nneka Nzuko of WhitePaper Newspaper was elected Treasurer of the Forum
In his acceptance speech, Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Adiukwu, said he is hopeful that the new leadership of FINE will live up to expectation.
He said the editors remain key players in the media industry in Imo State having played crucial roles in shaping modern journalism in the state.
