The 2017 Budget has been received by Acting Presidenct Yemi Osibanjo. The Appropriation Bill was passed by the National Assembly last week.
The legislature passed a N7.444 trillion budget last week.
The document was given to Osibanjo by the Presidential aide (senate), Ita Enang. The hand over ceremony was done behind closed doors, according to reports
The Acting President had said he would only sign the budget when he is satisfied with the contents.
Enang was quoted to have said the budget as passed by the National Assembly has been transmitted to the Acting President, saying he has the power to assent to the budget and will assent to it when the processes are completed.
