Former President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife Patience, PDP leaders, governors, past and present, serving senators Friday attended the wedding in Minna of Halima Babangida, daughter of former military ruler, General Ibrahim Babangida.
Also present at the ceremony was a national leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu
Halima married her heartthrob, Auwal Abdullahi, the Sarkin Sudan of Gombe.
Other dignitaries at the event, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) include former Vice President, Namadi Sambo, PDP factional Chairman, Ahmed Makarfi, former Governors of Sokoto and Zamfara States, Attahiru Bafarawa and Mamudu Shinkafi respectively.
Others include former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, former Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Dakingari.
Former PDP national secretary, Okwesilieze Nwodo, former Secretary to the Government of the federation, Pius Anyi, former Chief Justice of the federation, Idris Kutigi, Senator Ben Bruce were also in attendance.
