2017 Budget To Be Funded With Recovered Loot- Buhari’s Aide

The Federal Government will partly fund the 2017 budget from recovered looted funds.

A Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Prosecutions, Okoi Obono Obla, said in Abuja Tuesday, that about 20% of this year’s budget will be financed from recovered loot.

He said the Federal Government will work with the National Assembly for permission before the funds would be used.

He denied reports that the APC was undergoing leadership crisis, saying the party would continue to be in power as it served the interest of Nigerians by delivering dividends of democracy
