Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has dissolved the state executive council.
He however retained his Finance Commissioner,Obinna Oriaku and his Chief of Staff, Sunny Nwakodo. Also retained is the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General, Umeh Kalu (SAN).
The dissolution was contained in a statement signed and posted on the state government official website by the Permanent Secretary, Onyii Wamah.
The Governor did not give reasons for the sack. Also affected are his Special Advisers and Special Assistants.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the sack came after the commissioners gave a score card of their achievements in office.
