Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu

This is the take of Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, a frontline House of Assembly Aspirant on the platform of the APC for Nwangele state constituency.

Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Iwuanyanwu said that the APC has laid a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth and transformation of the country and Imo State, a feat the PDP could not achieve after spending 16 years in office.

He said the hardship experienced in the country is like a surgical operation carried out by the governing party at the state and federal levels, adding that in Imo State, Governor Rochas Okorocha, has proved his mettle by providing massive infrastructure across the state in the last 6 years in office.

Iwuanyanwu explained that he joined the House of Assembly contest to represent his Nwangele local government area in the Imo State House of Assembly in order to champion the move to emancipate his people economically who have suffered and relegated.

He said there are boundless and limitless opportunities in Nwangele which when elected into office, he will initiate a move to set up a micro finance bank that would give out soft loans to youths to engage in small business enterprises.

He noted that Nwangele has a natural resource- Palm oil- which can be harnessed for commercial use and for export and further boost the Plant a Palm (I Kuola Nkwu) programme of the present administration in Imo State assuring that he would accomplish this feat by bringing in his counterparts from China to assist him make it a reality.

The real estate magnate said he has also outlined an economic master-plan that would turn Nwangele into a hub of economic activities by bringing his vast wealth of experience in the banking and private sectors in turning Nwangele around through effective representation at the House of Assembly.

He expressed worry how youths of the area have been used by some politicians to commit electoral fraud, stating that it would be a thing of the past when he is elected into office as he will engage the youths through productive ventures to become more productive.

Iwuanyanwu gave thumps up to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State for his desire to hand over the reins of governance of the State to someone not above the age of 50 years. This he said is a clear indication that the governor wants to return power to the youths in 2019 and has set the right platform for a worthy successor.

He said the governor’s disposition is also a clear indication that the next political dispensation will be run by the youths just as he opposed zoning which he said hinders the election of the best.
