Youths of Amaigbo ancient kingdom in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State have appeal to political, religious and community leaders in Nwangele South to support the existing sharing of political offices in Nwangele LGA for the interest of justice, equity and fairness.

The youths strongly argued that the next chairman of Nwangele LGA should comes from Amaigbo based on that existing arrangement.

The apex youth body noted that House of Assembly and APC LGA chairman will remain in Nwangele South for the next two years, pointing out that Amaigbo should be supported to produce the next chairman of Nwangele LGA come September 2017.

Currently, all elective and government political appointment since 2011 are in Nwangele South. What we are saying is, give us chairman of Nwangele LGA while party chairman and House of Assembly remain in Nwangele South.”
