The Presidency has said why the Presidential jet has remained in London with President Muhammadu Buhari while he undergoes medical treatment.
A statement by the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu said the jet was still in London for reasons of national security, prestige, diplomacy and protocol”
The social media has been abuzz with reports that the Presidential jet was sparked in London while he Buhari is undergoing treatment. The claimed that the jet was costing Nigeria so much money as the President is undergoing treatment.
It said “It is important to state that for reasons of protocol, national security, diplomacy and prestige, there is no world leader who travels abroad and is left without plans for immediate return or possible evacuation.
