Ohaneze Youth foundation has said it has embarked on consultations with some key leaders in the North as it is set to meet with Major Hamze Mustapha, a former Chief Security Officer to Late Military Head of State, General Sani Abacha.
The motive is to discuss ongoing tension in the country and curb the rise of hate speeches.
In a statement by Don Uba, leader of the group, it said it will also consult the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters.
Aside consultations, the Foundation said It is also organizing meritorious awards for some Igbo sons who have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavour. They are Senator Samuel Anyanwu who will be honoured as Best Igbo Lawmaker senate 2017 and Senator Ben Obi, the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
