West Ham United may have to pay Belgian club, KAS Eupen, 7.87 Million pounds for the services of 20 year old Nigerian striker, Henry Onyekuru.

The striker is so close to sealing a move to the premier league club.

UK Daily Mail reports that the Hammers would have to pay above 6 million pounds release clause.

A breakdown of the amount indicates that the fee is significant as it helps to add to the player’s points tally for his work permit application.

According to the report, should a player score four points or more, the panel would recommend an application is granted.

If the transfer fee is in the top 25% of all transfer fees to Premier League clubs in the previous two windows, that earns three points. But is only two points should it fall between the 50% and 75% mark of those same fees.
