Abductors Of Imo APC Chieftain Demand 6 Million Naria Ransom- Imo Equity Movt

The Imo Equity Movement have revealed that the abductors of its Secretary and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Imo State, Barr. Kingsley Onunuju are demanding for the sum of 6 million naria as ransom

A statement signed by Tobechi Chigbu, Director of Media recalled Ononuju was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Owerri on Thursday June 29, 2017.

He said the Police recovered his vehicle at the time of his kidnap on July 1in Elele, Rivers State from two occupants who at the sight of patrolling Police Officers, abandoned the vehicle and ran into the bush.

The statement reads “In the afternoon on the day of his kidnap, Bar. Kingsley Ononuju and his colleagues stormed Ngor Okpala to flag off the Owerri Zone Townhall Meetings of Imo Equity Movement wherein they sensitized the masses about the merit of ensuring that the next Imo Governor in 2019 should come from Owerri Zone”
