Lionel Messi has said he wants four Barcelona players sold as a precondition for him to sign a new contract with the La Liga giants.
Spanish newspaper, Don Balon, said Messi wants Munir El Haddadi, Thomas Vermaelen, Arda Turan and Andre Gomes sold to other clubs.
Messi, who got married last week, is said to be demanding for an improvement at Camp Nou after the team lost the league title to rivals, Real Madrid and were eliminated from the Champions league.
Messi is on break with his new wife, but he was said to have told Barca officials on the need to freshen up the club. His contract expires at the close of next season.
Reports said Marco Verrati of Paris Saint Germain is at the top of the new manager Erbesto Valverde’s wishlist.
