Anambra Polls: APGA Will Benefit From Nnamdi Kanu’s Boycott- APC

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA have been identified as the immediate beneficiaries of the call by IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu for the governorship election in Anambra State to be boycotted.

This was contained in a release by the Anambra Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, Okelo Madukife while debunking insinuations that it is working with the IPOB to call for the boycott of the election.

The APC said it rejects the call in its entirety because only the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) would profit from it.

He said he believes APGA would benefit from Kanu’s call because in the event there is a boycott, the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly would be the one to be sworn in.

The APC scribe said the call for a boycott lacks basis and “ for us in the APC, it is an easy decision to reject the thoughtless pronouncement and urge Ndi Anambra to prepare to correct the grave error of 2013 called Chief Willie Obiano, an imposition made against real numbers”

He urged the people of Anambra State to come en masse and vote in an APC government to bring development to Anambra State with strong Central backing.
