One of the factions in Imo PDP loyal to the Ali Modu Sherrif have accepted today’s verdict of the Supreme Court.
In a statement signed by Barrister Enyinnaya Onuegbu, State Publicity Secretary, they said they are aware of the judgement of the nation’s apex court “ affirming the legitimacy of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Makarfi led National Caretaker Committee of our Great Party”
He said “ As law abiding citizens, we accept this judgment of the Apex Court of our Nation’s judicial authority and believe that for all purposes, it is good that an ending of this episode in our political party has come finally”
He urged all party members to remain calm.
