Man Dies In Owerri Working As A Labourer (PHOTO)

A young man whose identity has not been ascertained died on Tuesday while working as a labourer at the new market at Akwakuma, along Owerri/Orlu Road, Imo State.

The project is a state government project. It was gathered that the use of direct labour has been severally used in construction of several projects in the state. Such projects have been termed substandard because it seldom stands the test of time.

The unfortunate labourer, the news website was informed was removing sand from a filled up drainage system when suddenly the system collapsed on him which led to his untimely death.
