Leader of the Indigeneous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed that while he was in prison, he was offered with only five South East States. He claimed that he turned down the offer because it did not constitute the complete Biafra.
According to a report by DAILY POST, Kanu said he also wanted Rivers and Benue States.
He spoke when leaders of Igbo Civil Society Coalition led by Prof. Obasi Igwe paid him a solidarity visit at his Umuahia home.
He claimed that in addition to the five states, he was offered an oil bloc and a mansion in Dubai targeted at making him to abandon the cause but he rejected all the offers.
The IPOB leader described the gifts as Greek to buy him over and stated that he had no price other than to see the actualization of Biafra republic and liberate the Igbos.
