Ace entertainer, Charly Boy Oputa has called on the people of the South East to forget the agitation for Biafra and engage their time into productive ventures.
Speaking with the SUN, Charly Boy who led a protest tagged “ Our Mumudondo” in Owerri last week to express the disenchantment of the citizenry over irresponsible governance in the country, said the Biafra agitation is a waste of time
The Imo State born rights activist called on Igbos not be hoodwinked into some insane propanganda that will only lead to more “wahala”
Charly Boy said rather than asking for Biafra, Igbos should direct and channel their energies towards developing the South East region to become the economic hub of Nigeria.
“Igbo nation and my people are great but for us to move forward we must kill our individualistic tendencies and come together to do great things”
“The fall of Biafra after the genocide, starvation, and immense suffering of my people should teach us something. I believe the failure of the Igbo nation is the fault of the people, her so-called elites and decision-makers” he said
