*Accuse Lawmaker Of Abysmal Representation.

The Member representing Aboh Mbaise state Constituency in the Imo State House Of Assembly,Hon.Mike Iheanetu has been dealt a lethal blow, as a group, Aboh Mbaise Mandate Monitors has challenged his continued stay in the House of Assembly.
The group tongue lashed the lawmaker in strong terms, accusing him of “abysmal representation, betraying stakeholders and trading off his constituency interests”.
In a statement signed on behalf of the group by its National Chairman, Comrade Justus Chilaka and made available to newsmen in Owerri, they queried the lawmaker’s continued stay in the House on the basis that he has completely failed in his duty as a lawmaker and representative of his people”
The statement read in part; “We have observed with utter consternation the abysmal representation of the member representing Aboh Mbaise LGA in the Imo State House of Assembly Hon. Mike Iheanetu who is a two time member lawmaker”
“From our findings, Hon. Iheanetu has failed woefully in all ramifications as a member in the House. He has rather made himself a tin god who boats about his invincibility and absolute control of Aboh Mbaise politics”
“Hon. Iheanetu has exhibited crude, intolerable and condemnable level of arrogance and high handedness towards his constituents who approach him in his capacity as their representative”
“We have been inundated with calls and complains by his constituents that he neither pick his phone calls nor reply text messages. Moreso he insults leaders and ignore his constituents who elected him,student groups and other relevant groups who have sought to involve him in their activities. This is no longer acceptable to us”
The group further alleged that Iheanetu has re doubled his efforts in sabotaging one of the great sons of Mbaise, Hon Emeka Ihedioha who did so much to make him relevant in the murky waters of Mbaise politics and more importantly aided him for the second time to return to the Imo State House of Assembly in 2015.
The group further stated “We challenge Hon. Iheanetu to deny his nocturnal meetings with the camp of the sacked Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff when the PDP crisis lasted.
“We also challenge him to deny his hobnobbing with those who sabotaged the interest of Owerri zone project to occupy Douglas House in 2019″ the group stated.
“It is important to remind our constituents that most members in the same House of Assembly with Hon. Iheanetu have conducted several empowerment programmes, skill acquisition and entrepreneurial programmes. And we ask what has the people of Aboh Mbaise benefited since he went back to the House for the second time? Are we still part of Imo State or has Iheanetu traded off the dues and interest of our people for his personal and selfish desires.Or has he compromised the interest of his constituents for a fee?”
“There is nothing on ground to show for his over two years of representation in the Assembly . Absolutely nothing and we stand challenged. Enough is enough”
“Based on the foregoing, we demand for the resignation of Hon. Mike Iheanetu as member representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly or he will face our wrath. This is the only way we can save the good people of Aboh Mbaise from him for deliberately compromising the peoples interest for his personal gain. This, we will not allow forthwith”
“We hereby warn Hon.Iheanetu that if he continues to exhibit his usual arrogance and refuse to retrace his steps and stop compromising the interest of the people, we shall activate the option of his recall which will certainly confine him to political retirement and oblivion ” the group stated
Efforts to speak to Hon Iheanetu on these allegations were futile as several calls and text messages sent to his mobile line were yet to be replied as at the time of filing this report.
