The Area Youths Consultative forum, AYCF, has said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration made leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra,IPOB,Nnamdi Kanu popular.
Leader of the forum, Shetima Mustapha told The Sun that Buhari’s government made a huge mistake by arresting Kanu in the first place.
He alleged that Kanu does not behave like a gentleman because he is getting out of hand by making some uncomplimentary statements.
Mustapha who recently announced that Igbos should not quit the North said he is a proud Northerner and a leader and cannot allow Kanu to be abusing the sensibilities of his people.
He said the youths of the North could not have watched Kanu and his IPOB undermine the Buhari government simply because it is a government of northern extraction, saying “there was no IPOB when Jonathan was in power”
“Do you expect us to fold our hands when somebody who has dual citizenship try to mess up the country” he said.
