Channels Tv Reporter, Mr. Chukwuma Onuekwusi has been buried in his hometown in Akabo community in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
Onuekwusi had died after a brief illness at a private hospital in Abuja.
Aged 55, he had covered several beats on Channels Television which he joined in 1998 before he was sent to the State House. He had also worked at the Imo Broadcasting Corporation, IBC, Owerri.
Among dignitaries that witnessed the funeral were Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, Senator representing Imo East Senatorial zone, Senator Chris Anyanwu and many others.
