National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ahmed Makarfi, has stated that he will be least surprised if Ali Modu Sherrif returns to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Makarfi however called on former PDP members who have decamped to the governing party to return to the PDP.
The Chairman was reported by THE PUNCH to have said it is important to remember that Sherrif camp came from the APC.
He made it clear that he would not vie for any elective position including the chairmanship of the party.
He said the era of imposition of candidates in the PDP is over, stating that party members will decide who will be their next national chairman at the convention.
