Beward Of Red Cards, Conte Tells Chelsea Players

L:R: Michy Batshuayi Celebrate With Victor Moses In The Pre Season Game Against Arsenal In China

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has told his players to be beware of frequent red cards.

The Italian spoke on Monday during training after seeing four of them sent off in their last three competitive matches.

Last season, no single Chelsea player saw red in the Premier league except Victor Moses who was dismissed in their FA Cup loss to Arsenal in May.

Pedro was red- carded in the Community Shield defeat to the Gunners and both Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas saw red in their 3-2 defeat to Burnley on Saturday.

During training on Monday, Conte was furious with Fabregas red, as he had cautioned his players at half time not to fall foul of referee Craig Pawson after Cahill’s first half exit.

Moses will return to Sunday’s game against Tottenham, while Pedro is expected to recover from an ankle injury to make the trip.

Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko are both injured.
