Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso has denied reports that he has quit the All Progressive Congress, APC for the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP.
He described the report as a malicious story designed to rubbish his image.
Kwankwaso was reacting to reports that surfaced online yesterday that he has left the ruling party for the PDP.
His Chief of Staff, Aminu Abdulssalam was quoted to have said the report was totally unfounded.
He said his boss and some lawmakers have never had the thought of leaving the APC. He said the Kano State government planted the story to cause disaffection among his supporters after the national leadership of the APC recognized the leadership of Umar Doguwa as the legitimate chairman of the party in the state.
