Despite claims on the social media that the Police stormed the venue of the governorship primary of the All Progressive Grand Alliance in Awka, APGA and chased away factional leader of the party, Chief Martin Agbaso and others, reports just filtered in that the faction has produced Chief Igwebuike Ifeanyichukwu Hygers as the party’s candidate for the Anambra State governorship election.
Last week, Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano was announced winner of the party’s guber primary of another faction led by Chief Victor Oye.
Oye and Agbaso led factions have been locked in a deadly legal war on who heads APGA in Anambra State.
