Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has said penned a new contract with Chelsea. This will keep him at the club until 2020.

The premier league champions announced on its website that the Nigerian still remains with the club.

However, Omeruo has joined Turkish club Kasimpasa on a season long loan.

He was expected to depart Stamford Bridge permanently this summer after spending four years out on loan since signing for the Blues in 2012. He has had loan spells with Dutch club, ADO Den Haag, English championship side, Middlesborough and Turkish clubs, Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor.

He is yet to be featured by Chelsea in an official game, but made 26 appearances for Alanyaspor and scored one goal last term in the Turkish Super Lig topflight division.
