Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar is on his way to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Atiku is a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
This was revealed by a former member of the House of Representatives, Bala Baiko. Baiko had decamped from the APC to the PDP few months after a former Governorship candidate in Kano State, Ibrahim El- Amin also left the governing party for the opposition PDP.
Baiko alleged that all members of the defunct of the All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP had been sidelined since their party joined other legacy parties to form the APC. He claimed the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had lamented of neglect in the APC, revealing that his numerous followers were not also carried along in the scheme of things in Kano State
Atiku had been in the news last month when a serving Minister, Aisha Alhassan who heads the Women Affairs Ministry, announced her support for the former Vice President in the build up 2019 presidential elections.
