Thousands of women in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State gathered at the State party secretariat, Friday to galvanize support ahead of the 2019 general elections.
A day before the event, the State Secretary of the party, Hon. Ray Emeana at a sensitization programme of the party said the PDP in Imo State is on sensitization drive to mobilize more members to put the party in good stead to wrestle power from the governing All Progressive Congress, APC.
The women who came out in their numbers pledged to work for the good of the party. The event was organized by the party’s Woman Leader, Mrs. Maria Mbakwe.
