The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has scheduled July 14, 2018 and September 22, 2018 for the Ekiti and Osun State Governorship election.
This was announced by INEC national commissioner, Solomon Soyebi.
Campaigns for the beginning of campaigns for Ekiti State Governorship election is scheduled to hold on April 15, 2018 and that of Osun State June 24, 2018.
According to reports, INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu has revealed that more political parties will soon be registered. He spoke during a consultative meeting with national leaders of political parties held on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said by the first week of November, the Commision will take its decision on the pending political associations seeking to be registered
