Factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State, Dr.Chuks Ajaelu has raised an alarm over the vandalization of the party office by hoodlums at Onitsha road, Owerri.
He expresed worry that politics in the State has degenerated to a low point where thuggery and banditry has become the order of the day.
In a statement, Ajaelu said it is regrettable that some people are busy fighting for PDP structure in the State while losing focus on how to win the 2019 elections.
He vowed to draw the attention of the party hierarchy to this development.
Part of his statement reads:
“While embarking on a dialogue mission in Abuja I will not hesitate to bring this incident to d attention of our party hierarchy”
“I have reported the incident to the director SSS who assured me of sending his men to the scene . I have also employed the services of the press who will attend our office to record d damages”
“I still remain on the path of Justice, Fairness and accommodating loyal members of our party in this quest to regain our lost glory” he stated
