Ekeukwu Owerri Market Demolition: Court Fixes November 5th To Hear Case of Contempt

An Owerri High Court will hear a matter brought before it over contempt of court by the Imo State government on the demolition of the Eke Ukwu Owerri Market.

The matter comes up on 5th November, while the main case is scheduled for 6th December, 2017.

Owerri indigenes had also dragged the state government to court demanding N100 billion naria as damages from the state government on the market demolition.
