Former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim may have foreclosed his reported intention to leave the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). This newspaper had reported recently that Ohakim may head to APGA considering the ongoing of battle of wits in the PDP in Imo State.

His media official, Mr. Collins Ughalla had told this newspaper on inquiry that “ Don’t forget that former Governor Ikedi Ohakim is an honest man and does not hide his political moves. He carries his followers and supporters along in everything he does. When he was going on sabatical, he told the world. If he will leave the PDP for any other political party I am sure it will not be done in secret. He will tell everyone. For now, let’s enjoy what the rumour is producing”

However, the former Governor made a surprise appearance at the 74th National Executive Council meeting of the PDP held in Abuja. Online photos showed the former governor with a party chieftain and former national woman leader, Dr(Mrs) Kema Chikwe and State PDP Chairman, Charles Ezekwem
