The All Progressive Congress, APC has scheduled October 31 for its National Executive Committee meeting. The National Caucus meets a day earlier on October 30.

Reports said that at the caucus meeting, the report of Dr.Muiz Banire Constitution Review Committee will be presented by the National Working Committee led by Chief John Odigie Oyegun.

The date for the forthcoming convention will also be fixed, even as the resolutions at the caucus meeting is said to be ratified at the October 31 NEC meeting.

The current outlook of the party’s Board of Trustees, BoT, is expected to change, with a plan to reduce the membership and rename the organ, which is seen as the conscience of the APC.

The ruling party had postponed its convention earlier fixed for April 29, 2017, amidst several contentious issues, including the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, paucity of funds, disaffection by some party faithful and other political intrigues.
