Apparently to solidify the party at the grassroots, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Orlu LGA chapter has commenced sensitization programme of the party at the ward levels.

Speaking during the inaugural visit at the Umucheke Amaifeke Ancient Kingdom country home of the chairman, Amaifeke ward, Chief Remmy Okonta, the LGA Chairman, Hon. Ernest Samuel Dike, stated the essence of the visit was to see on ground the Executive members of the party in Amaifeke ward, even as to know their membership strength.

He informed time has gone when the names of the party executive members were written in proxy, adding such attitude would not be tolerated any longer.

The Ogberuru born politician told the gathering, the importance to remain steadfast in the party as according to him, the time to reap the goodness of their sacrifice to the party over a long period has come.
In his comment, the LGA Youth Leader, Hon. Ben Mgbeojirikwe stated, the leadership of party is still under the firm control of Dr. Victor Oye as the National Chairman and not Chief Martin Agbaso, who he described as an impostor.

Mgbeojirikwe, who was the immediate past Director General, Paschal Okolie Campaign Organization, boasted that he made the organization tick by using his connection to take the candidate of the party for Orlu State Constituency in the last House of Assembly elections to all the nooks and crannies of the area, thus his reasons for not leaving the party with him for another.
“Don’t be deceived by the actions of Chief Martin Agbaso. He is just an intruder who was immediately kicked out. All should be serious as the party is now a beautiful bride”, Mgbeojirikwe pointed out.

In his welcome remarks, the ward chairman, Chief Okonta stressed he has been working assiduously to make sure that the party apparatus remain intact, even while he thanked them for choosing to visit his ward first.
Okonta, who is popularly known as Okwuoto, reiterated his resolve to keep the flag of the party flying in the ward and beyond.

Addressing newsmen after the event, the State Organizing Secretary of the party, Comrade Stephen Anugwom revealed that the reason for the visit was to know what they have on ground and to discover ways of rendering assistance to them if any for optimum performance.

Anugwom who is also the Director General of Duke Dennis Foundation, said the party would not regret the absence of Paschal Okolie, informing, APGA made him popular and will not lose sleep over his leaving the party.
” APGA as a movement will not loose sleep because one person left the party. We made Chief Paschal Okolie popular with our structure and their are capable politicians jostling for his replacements.
“The leadership and membership of this party should clap for themselves for the sacrifice so far because the time of reaping has come.

“2019 will be different. No evil forces will stop us again from taking over the Government House Owerri and other political positions at all levels”.

Some of the executive members on the entourage were Nze Emokam, Ndidiamaka Nwosu, and Mr. Onyebuchi Mmuo. They later went to visit Ebenese /Umuezennachi ward.
