Top chieftains of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Imo State are in Awka, Anambra State to show support to Governor Willie Obiano.
Obiano is the APGA governorship candidate for the November 18 governorship election and is seeking to be re- elected for a second term.
Aside key leaders of the party from the State that are in Awka for the polls, other leaders of the party including new decampees have all emptied in Anambra State to show support for the Governor.
Obiano had his security aides withdrawn recently.
The move came after President Muhammadu Buhari visited Awka, the Anambra State capital to show support for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the State, Tony Nwoye.
APGA in Imo State have been making waves lately attracting decampees from other political parties to its fold.
It organized a mega rally in Owerri recently.
Also, it attracted a big catch last week when a former member of the House of Representatives and top APC chieftain, Hon. Uche Onyeagocha joined its fold.
