A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr.Raymond Opara has said in 2019,Owerri zone must produce the next Governor of Imo State.
He said the zone has been marginalized for a very long time despite its huge contribution to the economic development of the state.
He said Owerri people made available more than enough of their lands for the construction of several projects that has led to infrastructural development of the State.He said he is presently partnering with some investors in Asian Tiger countries to attract some projects.
Opara called on the people of Owerri to close ranks, unite and work together irrespective of political party affiliation, urging Owerri people to secure their voters cards in order to ensure the realization of an Owerri Zone governor in 2019.
