Ghana President Akufo Addo Statue Set For Unveiling In Imo

Reports reaching this online newspaper reveal that the statue of Ghana President, Nana Akufo Addo is set for unveiling in Owerri, Imo State.

Addo has been a regular visitor to the State having visited twice this year. He is expected in Owerri next week.  The statues of President Jacob Zuma of South Africa and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf were unveiled when they visited the State. Chieftaincy titles were also conferred on them.

Though the State government is yet to announce Addo’s visit to Owerri, a source confirmed to this newspaper that the Ghanaian leader is set to visit Owerri, Imo State capital in line with programmes for the Rochas Foundation.
