A commissioner-designate in Imo State and staunch member of the All Progressive Congress, APC Rescue Mission, Hon Lasbery Okafor-Anyanwu has said the outcome of the Anambra State election will not occur in Imo State.

He  expressed confidence in the ability of the Governor, Anayo Ethelbert Okorocha to deliver the state to APC come 2019.

Hon. Okafor-Anyanwu who spoke with newsmen shortly after his confirmation as a commissioner by the Imo House of Assembly, said nobody should be deceived by the outcome of the recently concluded Anambra governorship election which returned Governor Willie Obiano for a second term saying that such a scenario was highly impossible in Imo where he insisted that Governor Okorocha is very much on ground.

According to him, Governor Okorocha has achieved a lot and made so many giants strides that it will be virtually be impossible for any other political party to dislodge APC in the state come 2019, while also thanking the governor for the confidences reposed in him and for which he appointed a commissioner. On why he has remained with the rescue mission government since inception, Hon Okafor-Anuanwu made it clear that he has the rescue virus in him noting that he would continue to float with governor Okorocha anytime, anywhere.

He therefore advised Imolites to continue to identify and support the rescue mission administration of Governor Okorocha as it continues to lift Imo State to enviable heights Recall that Hon. Lasbery Okafor-Anyanwu was among the 27 new commissioners appointed.
