News had spread on Tuesday on the social media that former Vice President, Alex Ekwueme is dead.
It was reported to that former Vice President died in London. The Sun however quoted a family member saying that the elder statesman is alive and yet to be flown abroad. It said the elder stateman is recuperating from treatment.
President Muhammadu Buhari had directed that the former Vice President be flown abroad for medical treatment last week after he reportedly collapsed.
