Former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme has been finally flown abroad for medical treatment.
The ailing Vice President was taken to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu Sunday in an ambulance.
Reports said he was driven straight into the tarmac and was transferred to a waiting ambulance.
It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had few weeks ago approved Ekwueme’s foreign medical trip
