Five persons have been confirmed dead in an early morning car accident between a bus and a lorry. Details of the accident were sketchy as at press time.
The unfortunate incident took place at Akwu-Ukwu Oba along Owerri- Onitsha road. The accident is coming barely 24 hours a gas plant in Owerri killed scores at Ama wire, Orji, in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
Last week, more than 19 people were roasted to death along Owerri- Orlu Road when a petrol tanker ferrying fuel collided with a bus.
