A gas explosion has killed scores and destroyed properties at Ama Wire, Orji in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
The gas plant was under construction before the explosion occurred killing some passer-bys. Also it shook the foundation of some buildings within the vicinity shattering glasses, doors and roofs. Flying objects also flew around unrestrained wounding many in the process.
