The State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has read a riot act to former Local Government Council Chairmen elected on the party’s platform.
The Chairmen were accused for anti party activities. A source in the party said the bone of contention was that some of them claimed to be automatic delegates to the forthcoming national convention of the party.
A statement signed by Damian Opara, State Publicity Secretary of the party underlisted the following ex council chairmen invited to include: Hon. (Mrs) Ruby Emele – Isiala Mbano LG.A. Barr. F. M. Nnadi – Orsu LGA, Hon. Fisher Ezeugo – Oru East LGA, . Nnadi Gloria – Ideato North LGA (Deputy Chairman), . Hon. Bonny Nwadike – Isu LGA, . Hon. Obioha Eddy – Orlu LGA.
They are to appear before the Committee on December 1, 2017 at the State Party Secretariat, Owerri.
