A People Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart in Imo State, Chief Sir Bona Unachukwu has stated that PDP is more united now than before.
Speaking to some journalists during the grand reception of Distinguished senator Samuel Anyanwu recently, Sir Unachukwu who is the Owerri Zonal Chairman of PDP also stated that whatever happened to PDP before now is to make it strong and powerful to be able to win all her elections in 2019.
According to him, PDP is re-positioned now and more important personalities are joining the party and this is a clear indication that the party will take back power both in the states and at the National level come 2019.
On the reception organized for distinguished Senator Anyanwu, Sir Unachukwu stated that the reception is apt and sacrosanct because Senator Anyanwu who is the Chairman, Ethics and Privileges Committee has made Ikeduru people and Imo state proud in the red chambers of the National Assembly.
He went further to state that bringing down the Senate President, Senator Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and some of his friends in the National Assembly to Imo East he is representing will benefit them a lot.
Asked whether he will contest election come 2019, Sir. Unachukwu opined that it is when you get to the bridge, you now think of how to cross it. He said he will make his position known at the appropriate time.
