Imo APGA Set To Capture Ex Deputy Governor, Ada Okwuonu

* Ada Okwuonu* Former Deputy Governor of Imo State

The Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA is making another big catch into its fold with the reported move of former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Dr (Mrs) Ada Okwuonu to the party.

Okwuonu served in the administration of Ikedi Ohakim when the latter was governor of Imo State from 2007- 2011.

APGA had lately witnessed the influx of top politicians in Imo State such as former Imo PDP Chairman, Dr. Alex Obi, serial governorship aspirant, Humphrey Anumudu, former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Uche Onyeagocha, a former commissioner in the state, Charles Onyeagbako etc.

Okwuonu had been in the cooler for a long time after the exit of the Ohakim administration in 2011. Many had thought she has quit partisan politics until now.

Reports say she is ready to revive her political career by joining APGA at her Ezinihitte chapter, Okopofe Civic Centre.
