Imo State Commissioner of Finance and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Barr. Obinna Mbata at the weekend hosted the executive members of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Owerri Municipal.
The Commissioner said the essence of the meeting was in the spirit of the Christmas and New Year celebrations to share with party faithful and members in the municipality. He said the meeting was also aimed at ensuring that party members come together as brothers which is geared towards ensuring cohesiveness and togetherness.
Mbata assured party chieftains and members in the municpality of his support and co-operation towards achieving a strong and united APC in the area, stressing that during his interactions with party officers, they were mutual interactions which showed members commitment towards the good of the party
He also said it is the in spirit of the season that everyone comes together and put aside their differences and forge ahead as one united party members.
And to demonstrate his commitment to put party members in a festive mood, Â the Commissioner donated two cows to party members from the ward to the Local Government levels in the municipality.
