A former Majority Leader of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon.Lugard Osuji has resumed duties at the House of Assembly after his suspension for two weeks by the House.

Osuji represents Owerri Municipal State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly.

The lawmaker was spotted at the Assembly complex yesterday where he took part in plenary with his colleagues. His entry into the House was greeted with  loud ovation from members.  His return to the House was marked with an appointment as ad hoc commitee chairman that will interface with the 27 local governments in the State

However, last Sunday, the lawmaker and his wife were conferred an award of honour by St Peter Catholic Church, Ikenegbu Owerri.

Speaking after receiving the award, he recalled his childhood days at the church and the role he played to ensure its growth.

He expressed delight with the award promising to do all he could to continue propagating God’s work.
