After 19 Years Of Ezeship Tussle, Veteran Journalist Coronated Tradional Ruler of Ancient Kingdom In Imo

After an ezeship tussle that lasted for 19 years, a veteran journalist, HRH Eze Geoffrey C. Anika, KSC was on Monday, January 1, 2018 coronated traditional ruler of Umunnawuike ii of Atta kingdom in Ikeduru LGA of Imo State.

The event took place at Atta Girls Secondary School.

Speaking at the coronation ceremony, elder statesman,Chief Engr.Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu congratulated the newly crowned Royal Father for his emergence as the Traditional Ruler of Atta Ancient Kingdom after over 19 years of the Ezeship Tussle.

He called on the Traditional Ruler to always rule his subjects with truth,justice and fairness for the sake of unity,peace and development of the community.

The Co-chairman of the event,who is also an illustrious son of the area, HRH Eze Dr. Uche Egensi,(MON),the EzeIgbo in Abuja  described the celebrated Monarch as a peace-maker,a good broadcaster and a humble man who ascended  the Royal throne on the mandate of God.

He called on the veteran journalist to use his ezeship as a tool for unity and  profer peace in the area.

Among dignitaries who witnessed the coronation include member representing Ikeduru State Constituency in the Imo State House Hon.Barr.Thaddeus Uche Oguwuike, the Transition Committee Chairman of Ikeduru, Hon.Sir.Anyaehie Okememe,Mr.Obinna Okememe and Mr.Iheanyichukwu Iheanacho Uboegbulam.

Others are:the former Transition Committee Chairman of Ikeduru,Hon.Evans Enwerem (jnr), traditional rulers from Ikeduru LGA and many others.
