Okorocha Opens Up On Uche Nwosu Again

Barely few weeks after he gave a thumbs up to his Chief of Staff and son- in law, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has described Nwosu as a “ child of destiny”

Nwosu has been widely speculated to be Okorocha’s successor as alleged by the opposition.Both the Governor and Nwosu have not denied the allegations that is now spreading like wild rumour across the State.

Okorocha had told Vanguard in an interview that he has three people in mind that will succeed him.

At a meeting with stakeholders of Nkwerre Local Government Council stakeholders, who visited the Governor in Ogboko on January 4, 2018 , Okorocha was quoted to have said “I must tell you the truth, Uche Nwosu, apart from being married to my daughter, is also my son. Besides, after all these years, I can boldly say that, he is a hardworking young man who earns every position he has found himself today by tint of hardwork. But most importantly, he is a child of destiny”

Okorocha’s statement is contained in a face-book post by Mazi Anayochukwu Abasiodu Idiong, Special Assistant to the Governor on social media/ICT.

Nwosu in his response was quoted to have described Okorocha as a leader with compassion and pedigree for greatness.

Okorocha has been in Ogboko, his village playing host to stakeholders from various Local Governments in Imo State.
