The Imo State Government has lined up several activities for the 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance Day/Appeal emblem launch celebration.
According to a statement signed by Prof.Nnamdi Obiareri, Imo State Commissioner of Information, activities lined up for the event through the Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Development are as follows:
*Wednesday 10 January 2018-*
Fund Raising/Appeal Emblem Launch For The Nigerian Legion Projects @ Nicks Banquet Hall, Owerri by 10am.
*Friday 12 January 2018-*
Juma’at Prayer @ Central Mosque Owerri by 1.30 pm.
*Sunday 14 January 2018-*
Interdenominational Service @Victory Chapel, Government House Owerri by 8.30am.
*Monday 15 January 2018-*
Wreath Laying @ The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, Heroe’s Square, New Owerri by 10am.
