Turbulent times await hemp smokers and peddlers of illicit drugs in Imo State with the coming on board of a Task Force on Illicit Drugs

The consumption of Indian hemp and sale of hard drugs among the youths has become alarming in the State.

The Task Force takes up the responsibility of ridding the State of hemp smokers and illict drug peddlers.

Governor Okorocha said drug business among the youths in the state has taken another dimension, causing more harm than good to youths of the state.

“ Anyone caught selling, peddling or smoking Indian hemp in the state would face the wrath of the law” the Governor told his audience manly APC members at the International Conference Centre, Owerri
